1. We see the church as a FAMILY, (not a BUSINESS) that strives to place relationships before function.

2. We fully embrace the “whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27) as described in the Bible.

3. We believe that “devotion to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42) ignites a missional heart of loving, serving, telling & showing others. (John 17:18 & Matt. 5:16)

4. We accept that we live in the reality that the Kingdom of God is both “already” and “not yet”. This cultivates strong faith, but does not allow us to attempt to explain the unexplainable.

The New Testament teaches that Christians should give a portion of their income, as God has prospered them (1 Corinthians 16:2), to help fulfill the commission of Jesus.

It is the responsibility of any Church to administrate those funds with absolute integrity and full accountability (2 Corinthians 8:20, 21) and we take this very seriously.

Much is written in the scriptures concerning the responsibility of the Church to assist the underprivileged, widows and the fatherless and our “Tomorrows Champion Fund” is designed to temporarily help those in our midst, who due to unforeseen circumstances find themselves in a difficult place in their lives.

We also take a large percentage of our revenue right off the top (25%) to meet pressing needs in our community. Over the last year we have been able to help several families in need, single moms that found themselves in a tough place, the local Durham Youth Shelter, the local food bank and on an international scale, earthquake victims in Haiti and more.
