Our friends from OneLife Church in Houston have not only been affected by the hurricane themselves, but are also helping their neighbours in very tangible ways. We have an opportunity to send a team down there to work alongside them in this endeavour, as well as alongside a few other Advance churches who will be doing the same.
On May 14th we have a great opportunity to make a difference in our community by looking outside of ourselves to those who may not see Mothers Day as a happy day. Come prepared on Sunday, May 7th to give and sign-up for this exciting “mission to the mothers” in our region!

For the next couple of weeks, we are collecting pledges and donations towards the exciting work of renovating and ultimately occupying our own mid-week meeting space. To help us approach this appeal from a place of real faith, I’ve highlighted 6 ways in which we should give towards a project like ours. These lessons are drawn from 2 examples in the Old Testament where we see God’s people bringing their resources to help construct and complete a structure.
